Clinical Therapy

The most common reasons clinical therapy services are inquired about, relate either to relationships or to developmental life changes. Therapy is provided in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Confidentiality is of prime importance in order to develop the person-Therapist relationship.

 

The goal of therapy is to assist the individual in understanding his or her needs in order for them to make the changes required to reduce any negative consequences causing discomfort. The role of the therapist is to help individuals sort out their confusion by enabling them to find the solutions to their problem that fit for them. The objective is to empower the individual so that they can slowly become self-reliant.

 

Clinical Therapy Service provide:

  • Individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults.

  • Consulting and working with parents:- understanding and developing the parent- child bond.

  • Therapy for Psychological issues including:- Depression, Stress and Anxieties, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive behaviors, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant behaviours, Disruptive behaviors, Adjustment Disorders, Tic Disorders. (This is not an exhaustive list, it is for guidance purpose only)

  • Therapy for children:- adjusting to a life changing event, social skills development, self-esteem issues.

  • On an individual basis design and implement behavior management programs.

  • Therapy for dealing with adjustment issues and life changing events.

  • psychodynamic psychotherapy

  • cognitive-behavioural

  • humanistic-existential

  • eclectic-integrative approaches
