I have been a teacher in special needs education and mainstream kindergarten and nursery. I organized and designed education activities, and  responsible for planning in-school parent and child activities.

 

Anxiety and stress in children can obstruct their ability to learn, which I experienced while working as a kindergarten teacher.  Now as a special needs teacher, by interacting with students one on one, I found them learn much better.

 

Apart from cognitive training, I also focus on emotional health education. Believing it is not only about teaching children what emotions are and how to control them, but how to understand what emotion in the child that led to their behaviour, and to accept it.  I hope by education, parents and the public can gain a better understanding of children's emotional health.
