Clinical psychologists perform psychological assessment and intervention. They assess children's intelligence, attention, learning abilities, emotions and behaviors.In order to support children to live a happier life, I have been working as a clinical psychologist for 15 years mostly with the special-needs children. I help children with attention problems, hyperactivity, impulsive problems, social-skills deficit, as well as conditions resulting from brain injuries like epilepsies, brain trauma, and brain tumors.My specialty is in the assessment and intervention of psychological issues in children and adolescents. I tailor support programs for parents and children based on their needs to help maximize their potential and excel in Hong Kong’s demanding learning environment.Prior to private practice, I practiced in an NGO, and the Child Assessment Service at the Department of Health from 1998 to 2007. I served as a clinical supervisor for Clinical Psychology trainees for 5 years. I have also been served in an attachment service at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
